New year, new faith-filled you

The new year has arrived, and along with it we all have new goals, high aspirations and fresh hopes for the coming 52 weeks. While last year was difficult for many of us, and we can’t know what is coming our way this year, we can find hope in God’s Word—maintaining a positive outlook that things will be better than ever in this coming year.

With these new year Bible verses to hand, I pray that God will give you the courage to begin again—to overlook the difficulties, to overcome the obstacles and walk confidently into 2022 with a fresh perspective. I pray that God’s presence goes with you wherever you go this year, His love shines in your body, His wisdom guides your mind, His peace fills your poise, and most importantly, His strength is ever at your call.

I can endure all these things through the power of the one who gives me strength. — Philippians 4:13

A peaceful mind gives life to the body, but jealousy rots the bones.— Proverbs 14:30

Every good gift, every perfect gift, comes from above. These gifts come down from the Father, the creator of the heavenly lights, in whose character there is no change at all. — James 1:17

Don’t be anxious about anything; rather, bring up all of your requests to God in your prayers and petitions, along with giving thanks. — Philippians 4:6

I give you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, so you also must love each other. This is how everyone will know that you are my disciples, when you love each other. — John 13:34-35
